Case Study: Payrite Payroll Management Platform

A self-service payroll platform that captured an owner's know-how in software, letting him sell the business to his staff and grow it without hiring more people.
The challenge
Payrite's value lived largely in the owner's head. To sell the business to his staff, that knowledge had to become something the business could run without him, and clients still needed payroll to be accurate and on time every cycle.
What we built
We translated the owner's expertise into a customer self-service portal that manages payroll for clients. It automatically reaches out just before each pay run to capture any changes, then gives staff their own portal to review and resolve anomalies before submitting validated data for final payroll execution.
The outcome
The new owners saved a great deal of time and could grow the business without hiring more staff to do it, which in turn justified a larger sale price that suited both sides of the deal. For clients, entering wage information is validated to catch mistakes, and for most weeks payroll becomes a simple review-and-submit step they can complete on their phone.
