Case Study: APS Workflow

Short form

A cloud workflow platform that let APS's customers coordinate their teams and projects with real visibility, while cutting the IT overhead of running it.

The challenge

The value of any platform is measured by what it delivers to the people using it. APS's customers needed better coordination across their teams and projects, and less of the cost and burden of running software on their own servers.

What we built

We delivered a workflow system that gave managers oversight of entire projects and gave team members clear visibility of their daily and weekly tasks. It was flexible enough for each firm to tailor to its own workflow and client management needs. Moving to a cloud model meant customers no longer had to invest heavily in internal servers or maintenance teams. Our approach was strategic as well as technical: we also advised APS to rebrand and realign their product suite.

The outcome

Transparency improved productivity and reduced the chance of project overruns. Lower capital spend let firms put resources into other strategic areas. For APS it meant a stronger market presence and enhanced offerings; for their customers, streamlined operations and room to scale. Efficiency removed the friction, and the platform added the strength.
