Case Study: Draeger Live Workforce Management System

Short form
Live workforce management that lets a field-service business see its whole team at a glance and put the right technician, with the right materials, on the right job.
The challenge
Draeger runs a field team of technicians whose days are full of moving parts: job schedules that shift, time to log, materials to order, and emergencies that cannot wait. The coordination team needed a live picture of who was where, which jobs were active, which were next, and how long travel would take. Without it, keeping technicians productive and honouring service agreements meant working from guesswork.
What we built
We built a hybrid app and website that work as one. The app gives field technicians their job schedule, a way to report on jobs, log their time and order materials, with notifications when the schedule changes or an emergency comes in. The website gives the coordination team a map of every technician, their clients, and the active and next jobs, with travel times alongside. Coordination and the field now share the same live view.
The outcome
With the whole team visible in one place, Draeger could make better use of each technician's time, complete more jobs with the materials the job actually needed, and stay responsive to their service agreements. Their customers gained confidence too: jobs and emergencies would be picked up by the right person, and they would be kept up to date as situations changed.
