The platform that took Thea from helping clients one at a time to helping her whole industry change how it cares for people and earns a living.

The challenge

Helping someone change their dietary behaviour is hard, and clients drop out often, so nutritionists are always searching for new ones. Running a business on top of consulting is a heavy burden, and the industry loses many good practitioners who change careers simply because they cannot cope with both.

What we built

Redgum worked through the business and revenue models, then designed and built Eat By Design, a platform that lets providers tailor personalised weekly meal plans, with every meal planned out and the shopping list each customer needs to stay healthy.

The outcome

Thea went from helping customers one on one to helping her entire industry change the dynamic of how they care for their customers and how they earn their living. The platform creates a new, ongoing revenue stream that helps practitioners stay in the job they trained for. A single build, aimed squarely at an industry-wide problem.
