Case Study: Everproof Credentials Management

Short form

A platform for holding and validating professional credentials, built as an MVP, funded by Australian venture investors and later acquired by a US company.

The challenge

Hugh and Nathan saw the need for properly validated credentials after discovering that one of their teachers had bought their degree from a counterfeiting shop in Thailand. Checking and trusting qualifications by hand is slow and risky, and the consequences of getting it wrong fall on schools and students.

What we built

We worked with them to create BlueQ, now Everproof, a platform where people keep and validate their credentials and share the relevant ones with their employer. Once the product was proven, we helped them scale, training new staff and giving the business room to grow.

The outcome

The founders gained a new MVP product that helped them raise funding and grow into an international solution, validated in the market and since acquired by a US company. Schools know their staff hold validated, up-to-date credentials; individuals have a safe repository that stands behind the work they have done; and the original investors saw the platform built, proven and grown into a return.
