Case Study: Orders On The Go

Short form
A platform that lets tradies order materials from the job site, connecting them to their suppliers so the right supplies reach the right site on the right day.
The challenge
Getting materials to a construction site is more fragile than it looks. Ordering and delivering the right supplies, to the right job, on the right day, is a complex and error-prone process, and tradies rarely have the moment to sit at a desk and manage it. Our client saw a business in solving that, but needed the capability built and proven before they could take it to market.
What we built
We built a platform that connects tradies and their materials suppliers, so a tradie can place an order on the go, from the job site itself. It carries the ordering and delivery process that had been handled by phone calls and memory, and gives both sides a shared place to manage it.
The outcome
The platform gave our client something they could take to market, and it became the basis of their new venture. For the tradies and suppliers who use it, the complex, error-prone job of ordering and delivering supplies becomes something they can manage with confidence.
